چکیده
Abstract This paper presents a novel design of 2D electromagnetic micromirror without crosstalk. The proposed uses flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) and four layers coils embedded in the polyimide layers. insulated coil allow for independent actuation mirror plate to rotate about two orthogonal axes. diamond shaped hyperbola-shaped magnetic field on under 45-degrees FPCB frame eliminate mechanical Finite element analysis was used predict micromirror’s behavior. prototype is scanning LiDAR, results indicate that crosstalk-free pattern yielded significantly clearer results, particularly detecting object boundaries reducing barrel distortion. experimental test has verified working principle showed good quality: no crosstalk an improvement horizontal view up 19% But with cost vertical by 12%. large aperture 19 × mm 2 , which very suitable coaxial LiDAR.

A New Approach to Model-Free Tracking with 2D Lidar
This paper presents a unified and model-free framework for the detection and tracking of dynamic objects with 2D laser range finders in an autonomous driving scenario. A novel state formulation is proposed that captures joint estimates of the sensor pose, a local static background and dynamic states of moving objects. In addition, we contribute a new hierarchical data association algorithm to a...
متن کاملSynthetic Aperture Lidar as a Future Tool for Earth Observation
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a tool of prime importance for Earth observation; it provides day and night capabilities in various weather conditions. State-of-the-art satellite SAR systems are a few meters in height and width and achieve resolutions of less than 1 m with revisit times on the order of days. Today’s Earth observation needs demand higher resolution imaging together with timeli...

This paper reports the design, fabrication, and testing of a draw-bridge micromirror and to be integrated a monolithic 4 × 4 optical crossconnect (OXC) having dimensions about 4 mm × 4 mm. The OXC is composed of 16 individual draw-bridge micromirror, is fabricated by the surface micromachining technology and then manually assembled. In each draw-bridge micromirror, is driven by electrostatic fo...

متن کاملLidar measurements taken with a large-aperture liquid mirror. 1. Rayleigh-scatter system.
A lidar system has been built to measure atmospheric-density fluctuations and the temperature in the upper stratosphere, the mesosphere, and the lower thermosphere, measurements that are important for an understanding of climate and weather phenomena. This lidar system, the Purple Crow Lidar, uses two transmitter beams to obtain atmospheric returns resulting from Rayleigh scattering and sodium-...
